0 Photography as an Art

Tuesday, March 12, 2013
Photography is an art form of its very own. Not only do you want to choose the right camera for the photos you want to shoot, but then you have to figure out what type of photography you want to shoot, because there's so many lenses to choose from.

Once you have your camera and lenses, then it's off to find and/or have a plan as to what kind of photos you want to take. Here is a picture captured by photographer Jack Bradley. In the photo is a child, hearing clearly for the first time, with the help of a hearing aid. There's not much information out there about this black and white photo other than the child in the photo is Harold Whittles. At this point, just the photo alone speaks for itself. It's amazing by looking at this picture of how far we've come with technology on hearing aids alone. =)

0 Funny present trick for a kid

This is a cute idea that popped in my head right out of nowhere one day. It came to mind for my youngest sisters birthday. I thought, what would be cruel but funny all at the same time... Make her think she's not getting a present, when really she is getting one. LOL!

So, I had a rock I found somewhere and I painted a happy face on this rock. I took a tissue box that finally ran out of tissues, and cut the top of it off, so I could roll her clothing up to fit inside the tissue box. I placed the clothes down in the gift bag first, then put the open part of the tissue box face down, over the clothes to give the illusion that it was the bottom of the bag. Then I placed Mr. Rock at the bottom, and put tissue paper on top. When she opens the gift, she'll only see a happy rock smiling away at her.

Tada! A sure fine way to giving a cute gift made with love, that looks to be nothing at all! LOL! :D But my youngest sister was about 12 when I pulled this prank on her, so she knew there was going to be more, she just had to look for it. Any younger, they would probably take the rock and play with it thinking that truly was all, or they would probably cry. :/ Either way, Enjoy! :D
